The District cannot and does not accept any donations of used equipment.
Used equipment generally does not provide the capability of running modern applications and subscriptions, but still places a heavy burden in cost and staff time on the District to keep equipment operating. In most cases, these costs far exceeds the original value of the acquisition. Also, by accepting this less-than-useful equipment, the District becomes liable for the proper disposal of equipment.
